6 PM SESSION. We have a six-eye 1st pressing. This record was made so long ago that one of our dad’s actually booked Dave Brubeck to play a concert at the student union. When this record came out it was a hit — Take Five is the highest-selling jazz single of all time — and 65 years later it’s easy to understand why. Produced by Teo Macero and released December 14, 1959 on Columbia Records.
